PULIOGARE RECEIPE:
Ingredients:
1. Puliogare Paste* 2tsp
2. Groundnuts 2tsp
3. Curry Leaves few
4. Dry red chillies 4 or 5
5. White Yellu 1 tsp
6. Grated Copra ½ to 1 cup
7. Rasam Powder* 3 tsp
8. Sesame Seeds pinch
9. Turmeric pinch
10.Salt to taste
11.Well cooked rice 1 ½ cup
12.Cooking oil to taste
Procedure:
Heat sufficient oil in a pan. Sputter some mustard seeds, add turmeric, groundnuts. Fry a little, then add chillies, puliogare paste, sesame seeds, grated copra, and rasam powder. In that order; one after the other.
Mix this with cooked rice and salt.
Serves 4.* Use Iyengar puliogare paste and rasam powder for best results.
